Workshop Description

This is a music business workshop specifically geared towards freelance musicians who are trying to become more established in Houston. Unfortunately, most music business books and workshops focus more on promoting bands, not freelance musicians.

Mr Lewis is a successful freelance musician (trumpet player) who, for all his adult life, has made the majority of his income playing gigs with various bands. In fact, between 1997 and 2005, he did very little of anything else, having cut his teaching load down to less than three students and refusing any arranging work that came his way. Now he is ready to share his “trade secrets” with you.

There are a lot of music business approaches out there. The difference between Lewis’ approach and some of the others is that Lewis has taken his beliefs as a Christian with him into the music business side of his art. The “techniques” he will teach you are not only effective, but also ethically sound and morally straight.
