Brass Ensemble Camp

This will be the first training camp for what will later become Consort Immanuel's Apprentice Program. We will focus not only on brass ensemble playing but also on the professional side of the art. Students who sign up for this camp will be taking their first steps towards making at least a part time income performing music. 

This year's Brass Ensemble Camp is open to students of brass instruments (trumpet, horn, trombone/euphonium and tuba) who have at least three years of experience playing in band. High school students are preferred but there may be exceptions based on the students' abilities. 

The students will rehearse and perform music from every applicable genre of classical and commercial musical styles, including music from the renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, big band and even a little rock music like the Beatles.

The camp will end with a concert on Friday afternoon. All family and friends are invited to enjoy the fruits of the students' labors. Refreshments will be available after the concert while pictures are taken. This will be a good time to meet the families of the other students.
